More Audition Information
- You must audition if you want a lead role in the play.
- Please prepare 30 seconds of a song that shows off your voice. You will sing a cappella. (without accompaniment) We want to see what you can do! This is your time to shine.
- Then you will "cold read" a scene from the script.
- If you are happy being an ensemble part, please come to auditions any way for the experience! You can sing in a group of friends, or by yourself.
- Parents are not allowed to stay and watch auditions, but all children will watch each other audition. This is a great experience for your child!
Come join us for our "Annie, Jr." Audition Workshops!
- Practice songs and scenes that will help audition for our show!
- Get coaching on how to enhance your vocal and acting auditions.
- Learn how to prepare for any audition!
Does your child show tons of enthusiasm to perform at home, but feels too scared to audition for theater? We have developed a one day workshop especially for you! During this Saturday workshop, children will learn how to prepare a vocal, movement, and acting audition for ANY role. We will teach these skills while focusing on our upcoming "Annie, jr." auditions, so children will feel prepared for auditions! In addition to three hours of skill-building, students will perform what they have learned for parents at the end of the workshop!
